Focus on Fundamentals

Every organization has problems.  The question is what do you do about them?

You eliminate problems by questioning fundamentals and asking ‘why’ many times.  Fundamentals include working as a team, communicating with each other, setting clear objectives, walking the talk, listening to learn, questioning to understand, acting to achieve, measuring to focus, and celebrating the small things to build a great work culture.

Open Communication

A key to eliminating problems is seeing things as they are, not as you wish them to be.  Getting feedback from others throughout the organization is a critical step in understanding ‘the way we do things around here’. 

Act

Others must believe something is going to be different. Get roadblocks out of the way.  Stop group think.  Stop game playing.  Stop internal politics.  Act!
